Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive theatre ecosystem in Victoria by promoting artistic excellence, fostering collaboration, and championing equity, diversity, and inclusion. We advocate for cultural spaces and government support, partner with like-minded organizations, secure resources to sustain our community, and celebrate achievements through annual awards.

The Victoria Theatre Collective was formed:

• To promote interest and skill in the arts of the theatre and advance the development of a thriving Victoria theatre community.
• To facilitate communication and support collaboration within the Victoria theatre community.
• To be inclusive, welcoming to, and representative of Victoria’s diverse community of theatre artists and support members in adapting industry best practices for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion measures.
• To advocate for space, funding, and public support of local theatre initiatives.
• To support the establishment and continued success of annual theatre awards in Victoria to celebrate success within our community.
